The Vacation Rental industry has banded together and is collecting a .5% volunteer tax on every booking done. These dollars will be paid to Big Bear Workhouse Initiative a legal not for profit company each quarter. Big Bear Workforce Initiative will be in charge of disbursing the money to home owners quarterly through a steering committee.

Are you a Restaurant owner, board shop, marina, real estate agent, Rent by Owner (RBO) and want to get involved, contact us today. Contributing members can join the steering committee.

We have the support of Big Bear Chamber of Commerce, The Visitor’s Bureau, Association of Realtors. Big Bear Mountain Resort is also very interested in getting involved. The major vacations rental companies are all contributing such as Big Bear Vacations, Cool Cabins, Destination Big Bear, SO Cal Mountain resorts, Vacasa and commitments from other local companies.

We are hoping to get 50 families placed in the next 12 months.
